Zuora is in a period of successful growth across Europe and found itself without HR support whilst they were sourcing their new HR director for the region.
VeryHR was appointed to step in as interim HR support whilst the search for the next HR Director appointment could continue then ensure a smooth knowledge transfer. VeryHR brought in its European and HR expertise to the table in addition to supporting the business in an interim capacity. We reviewed the general HR set up for France, Germany and Australia providing compliance and best practice recommendations.
6 weeks later Zuora hired their European HR Director to whom VeryHR transitioned all of its knowhow that had been gathered over the last weeks. In addition, VeryHR was kept on to continue with add hoc services.
Julie ‘held the fort’ from an HR perspective until I started there in October 2016. When I arrived, I found the fort was in pretty good shape with no occupying army and not a lot of battle damage to speak of. End of analogy….However the fact things were in reasonable shape is a reflection of the depth of Julie’s HR knowledge, international savvy and ability to forge strong partnerships, her positive approach to getting things done and a strong work ethic. If I ever need fort holding at some future point in time, then I know where to go!
